What each OCR GCSE Geography A paper assesses
OCR GCSE Geography A, Geographical Themes (specification J383), is assessed by three written papers. Component 01, Living in the UK Today, and Component 02, The World Around Us, each last one hour and carry 30%; Component 03, Geographical Skills, lasts 1 hour 30 minutes, carries 40% and examines fieldwork alongside the skills, drawing on the whole course; geographical skills also earn marks on components 01 and 02. There are no optional topics.
