What each AQA A-Level Psychology paper assesses
AQA A-Level Psychology (specification 7182) is assessed by three written papers of two hours each, taken at the end of the two-year course. Each paper carries 96 marks and one third of the final grade. Paper 1 covers social influence, memory, attachment and psychopathology. Paper 2 covers approaches in psychology, biopsychology and research methods. Paper 3 covers issues and debates, followed by one option from each of three blocks chosen by your school. Research methods can be assessed on any of the three papers.
