What each AQA A-Level Religious Studies paper assesses

AQA A-Level Religious Studies (specification 7062) is assessed by two written papers of equal weight. Component 1 covers philosophy of religion and ethics and is sat by everyone: a three-hour paper worth 100 marks and half the A-level, with two compulsory two-part questions in each section. Component 2 is the study of one religion chosen from Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism, together with the dialogues between that religion and philosophy of religion and between it and ethical studies. It too is worth 100 marks and half the A-level.

Section B: ethical theories, human and animal life and death, meta ethics, free will, conscience, Bentham and Kant

Component 2
