What each OCR A-Level Business H436 paper assesses
OCR A-Level Business (specification H436) is three written papers of two hours and 90 marks each, weighted equally. Unlike the specification it replaces, each paper has its own content, though students are expected to draw on the others and Component 03 ends with a synoptic question: Component 01 examines business activity, marketing and people, Component 02 operations, finance and external influences, and Component 03 strategy, risk and managing change. **This is the new specification, first taught from September 2026 and first assessed in 2028.** Students still sitting the outgoing H431, whose final assessment is summer 2027, want the Business (H431) guide instead.
