What each OCR A-Level Physical Education paper assesses

OCR A-Level Physical Education (H555) has three written papers and two non-exam assessments. Component 01 covers physiological factors affecting performance: applied anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology and biomechanics. Component 02 covers psychological factors: skill acquisition and sports psychology. Component 03 covers socio-cultural issues: sport and society, and contemporary issues. The practical performance and the evaluation of performance for improvement are assessed by teachers and are not in this guide.
